Every now and then, I make something that just blows me away.
This black bean brownie batter dip is just that.
For awhile, I’ve been wanting to try making brownies with black beans. It’s all over the internet, and I’m fascinated to say the least…I mean, black beans? For brownies? Well, I tried it. This brownie batter dip came to me on a recent snow day when I found myself craving sweets. I had some black beans and chocolate chips in my pantry, and just like that, this dip came to be.
Made with lots of real ingredients like beans, oats, and chia seeds, I must say that this is a decently healthy dessert option. Yes, there’s sugar. I did opt for agave and dairy-free chocolate chips (of course!), but unfortunately, if you want a dessert to taste amazing, you need either oil or sweetener. Obviously, I went with the latter. I am super impressed with how this dip turned out. Normally, I need to keep tweaking recipes until I get it right, but this dip was meant to be. Honestly, it kinda makes itself….black beans, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, sweetener, some liquid, vanilla extract cause of course, and some extra healthy ingredients. Super easy to put together, and even easier to adjust the ingredients to add more or less sweetener. You could also add oil if you wanted, but I honestly don’t think it needs it.
This black bean brownie batter dip is the easiest dessert on earth. Run the ingredients through the food processor, and you are DONE! I love simple recipes, especially when I want a sweet fix. If you are really craving something sweet or need to put together a quick recipe for a party or get-together, this dip is for you. Serve it with graham crackers, fruit, or anything else you desire. I love this dessert more than anything else I have to offer on the blog (yup, even more than my peanut butter banana dessert pizza and my chocolate raspberry avocado pudding.
My brownie batter dip has healthy ingredients, is easy to make, and tastes rich and chocolaty. It’s exactly what I want every single day of the week. I love it, and I really hope you love it, too.

What is your favorite dip? Sweet or savory? Besides this brownie batter dip, I’m also a sucker for cookie dough dip or a savory vegan queso or french onion dip. Before I went vegan, my cousin made a buffalo chicken dip that I enjoyed (and I totally gag at the idea now, naturally). I might try to make a vegan version for the blog. Let me know what your favorite dip is and if you’d like for me to create a vegan version or something similar. I would love to test some new recipes and well, dips are awesome.
I hope your day is amazing,
