Remember when you made a resolution to be healthy? Well, hopefully you are still sticking with it on January 2nd.
I know many of you may hate the idea of healthy food. Veggies are boring, salads are meh, brown rice is bland.
The good news: if you make a habit of eating clean, after awhile, you start to crave all the foods that currently bore you.
Even better news: healthy food does not have to be boring. Sure, that can be hard to believe. That is why I am here to show you otherwise.
Virtually anyone looking into a healthy lifestyle knows that smoothies are a popular choice for breakfast, snacks, or lunch.
While I do not think that regular smoothie consumption is essential for a healthy lifestyle, I cannot deny how handy a smoothie can be.
Smoothies are EASY, portable, and easy to add lots of different ingredients to ensure that you get several servings of healthy nutrients.
The challenge with smoothies is finding the perfect ingredients to make them taste amazing. Fortunately, if you are looking for this, you’ve come to the right place! I have several smoothie recipes that are healthy, including:
and of course, my Healthiest Smoothie on Earth
Today, I give you something new. My current obsession: this Chocolate Cherry Green Smoothie.
It may not look like this smoothie is loaded with spinach, but that’s the best part! Green smoothies can seem intimidating because it is easy to assume that you will taste the greens. In this smoothie, you’d never know it was even there! It just tastes like dessert, but is super healthy for you. You are welcome.
My chocolate cherry green smoothie is my new favorite. As a busy college student, I need something that will keep my energized and is easy to prepare and enjoy while I’m walking out the door. Smoothies do just that, and I do not see myself warming up to another smoothie recipe for awhile. I am just too obsessed with chocolate cherry anything. Who’s with me?
