I typically have my much better camera to work with, but sometimes, life just isn’t on your side, so I just had to make do as is.
Copper is one of my favorite colors for Fall. There is nothing better than the coppers and the golds. They just really capture the colors of the season so nicely!
I understand that copper isn’t always an easy color to pull off, but I honestly think that copper suits many skin tones. What I do to make the color less dramatic is add winged liner. Doesn’t seem like it would make as big of a difference, but it really does!
Another tip is to keep the cheeks and lips fairly neutral. I went with a nude blush and a nude lip. It makes it so that the eyes aren’t overpowering, but are still the center of attention.
I love this look for a night out, or during a day of running errands, which is what I wore this for recently. It’s surprisingly pretty quick to accomplish, required a simple technique, and isn’t so dramatic that I looked out of place at a store during the day.
I hope you get a chance to try out a copper look this Fall. It’s really fun, and easily puts you in the spirit of the season. Personally, I would only wear this through the end of the month, as I tend to prefer other shades in December, but might make a nice New Years look as well. It’s up to you though, there are no rules!
