How I love the sun, being outdoors, and having adventures. This day, my boyfriend and I went out to get vegan hot dogs (which were amazing, btw) and took a little stroll through a local park. I wasn’t planning on doing a MOTW on the look I wore, but I really liked it, and I think it’s pretty dang perfect for Summer.
When doing my makeup that day, I gravitated towards two Colourpop shades I own: Kathleenlights and Weenie (both created by popular Youtuber, KathleenLights). I thought they would look beautiful paired together. I think I was right about that.
What I love about this look is not only how perfect it is for virtually any Summer event, is how damn easy it is. I only used 3 eyeshadows on the lid, and only one crease shade. I find it very beginner-friendly.
This is what happens when your boyfriend takes your photos. I really enjoy the vibrancy of this look. It is very eye-catching, without being dramatic or overly colorful. It just compliments the season, and is a look that I could honestly wear everyday and be perfectly happy. That’s saying something since I try something new all the time.
* My skin is improving dramatically, but I am still dealing with some skin irritations-hence the bumps. It takes some time for skin to heal, and I find no reason to hide the fact that I deal with sensitive skin issues like so many other people.
The bold lip is completely optional. You can wear any lip color you want. I just love fun, vibrant, pops of color.
I really hope you enjoy this easy, fun, everyday Summer makeup look. For the specific products I used, I would recommend wearing this look on a day where you will not be out in the hot sun all day. It is great for outdoors, but not for an all-day out in the sun type of day, if you know what I mean. With the amount of product I used, I think the makeup would slide right off in the sunlight. I would recommend my Golden look for days out in the sun! That, or my No-Makeup Makeup Look.

*I am so sorry that I used so many non-cruelty-free products. I did not plan on sharing this look, and I have been using many of my older products so that I can use them faster. It is a priority to me to have a complete cruelty-free beauty collection, but it will take some time. You can refer to my list of products I own from animal testing companies if you want to see how much further I have to go.
