I am a total makeup addict! I can’t help it! I haven’t bought myself new socks in over a year, but if I see a lipstick I want, it’s mine.
Like I said last week, I want to share makeup looks on a weekly basis to give you all some ideas/inspiration. I think that makeup takes some practice, but can be easy and attainable for anyone. My makeup looks are usually pretty simple, and take about a half an hour or less (with some exceptions for more dramatic looks). I want to share weekly inspiration and offer a complete list of products that I use.
Not all of the makeup I use is cruelty free or vegan. It is something that I am working on, but until then, I like to use up what I already own so that I can eventually have a 100% cruelty-free and vegan makeup collection. It is something I am really looking forward to. Notice below how I only provide links to cruelty-free products because I do not want to promote products that go against my ethics…if I’m using it, it means I’m trying to use it up and maybe have yet to purchase a cruelty-free alternative. Give me some time, and I will get there. I promise!
This week’s look is very spring friendly. I absolutely love pinks at this time of the year. Soft, pink eyeshadow paired with an orangey lip is one of my personal favorites.
The best part is how easy this look is. I used 3 eyeshadows with a simple 3-step technique. I used a pink color as my transition shade all over the crease, a darker pink in the lower part of the crease, and then a light-pink shadow on the lid. Many of my looks revolve around this technique. If you switch the colors around, you have so many different looks to choose from.
Here are the Deets:
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer
Hard Candy Tiki Bronzer (to highlight)
Brow Highlight: Makeup Geek Vanilla Bean
Transition Color: Makeup Geek Cupcake
Crease (and lower lash line): Makeup Geek Mango Tango
Lid: Makeup Geek Mai Tai
Inner Corner: Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma
Waterline: Urban Decay Liner in Roach
Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex
Colour Pop Lippie Pencil in Tipsy (discontinued)
This look is so fun and simple, and I have been wearing it all the time lately! I hope you are able to get some ideas from this post!
