As much as I love to get creative with my makeup, somedays it’s just not going to happen. There are times when I am in a rush, or I don’t really want to do my makeup, but need to freshen up.
You may be asking, if you are doing your makeup to look like you aren’t wearing makeup, why wear makeup at all?
That’s a great question, and the answer: You don’t have to wear makeup. You never have to. However, if you want to freshen up and enhance your natural features, my no-makeup makeup look is an easy go-to. This is even an everyday look for many people. I like to mix things up, but if I want something on the natural side, this is the winner every time!
This look is ridiculously easy. I do not use as many products (only 12 products…much less than usual, and some are applied on same part of the face), and I apply a light amount of everything. This look is so easy, you might not even need a mirror once you get the hang of it.
This is actually a great Summer look for going to the beach. When out in the sun, using a small amount of products is ideal. Embrace your natural beauty with my no-makeup look, or literally wear no makeup! Either way, you’re good to go!
I think I want to make this post as simple as today’s look! Let’s just get right into the product list!
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Brows: It Cosmetics Brow Powder and Urban Decay Brow Box
Mac Naked Lunch Eyeshadow (any neutral color with a hint of shimmer works)
All other eyeshadows I used are from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette
Crease and Lower Lash Line: Naked 2 e/s
Brow Highlight: Foxy e/s
Inner Corner Highlight: Venus e/s
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Definitely not the most exciting look I will ever post, but it is definitely necessary since most of you will need a go-to simple look for either everyday wear or on those days when you want to freshen up, but aren’t really in the mood for winged liner and contouring-I feel ya.
Next week, I may have something more interesting up my sleeve, but until then, I hope you enjoyed this simple, staple look. One of these days, I will get around to showing you my every-day full face, full effort makeup look that I have been wearing and going back to for a few years now. Until then, I have been very inspired by Summer looks, so that is probably what you’ll see most of throughout the next few months!
I hope you have an awesome weekend, and I will be back on Sunday for my weekly ‘check-in’ so to speak.
Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you soon!
