In the last couple months, I have been pretty good about keeping my motw’s semi-professional (though I am still learning). This week, I am sharing a look that I didn’t intend to post, but I ended up snapping a picture of myself in my car and decided that it was something worth sharing.
Why? Well, this is something I wore to the beach. A couple weeks ago, Matthew and I took a trip to Seaside, Oregon (another beach-themed MOTW is coming next week….I’ll just get it out there now). I wasn’t planning on actually being in the water that much, and we’d be around the town (totally not playing Pokemon Go…ok, yeah we did). For that reason, I decided to do my makeup and ended up with a very glowy look with a pop of color. I decided to share it because it’s pretty much my go-to in the Summer when I know I will be outdoors, but still want to do some kind of fun look with color.
It’s insanely easy and nothing special, but still one of my absolute favorites. Sometimes the best looks don’t have to be anything extraordinary.
Let’s Get to the Deets:
*I don’t remember the shades I used on my lid (again, wasn’t planning on sharing this). I do know what is on the lower lash line, which is what matters anyway. Any neutral shimmery shade on the lid and any combination of 2 brown shades will give you virtually the same look depending on your skin tone)
Smashbox Contour Sticks
Revlon Coral Reef Blush
Benefit Sun Beam
Waterline: Mally Pencil in Carribean Sea
Lower Lash Line: Makeup Geek Seamist e/s (couldn’t find it on website…discontinued?)
I hope you enjoyed this spontaneous Makeup of the Week, and I’ll be back next week with something a bit more planned.
Have an awesome weekend, Namaste
