I’ve been really warming up to Summer makeup!
Usually, I am all about the darkness and glamorous-ness of Fall. Trust me, come October, my blog will be flooded in Fall. Until then, I have been embracing the Summer sun, which has inspired me to experiment with lighter, brighter colors. If it wasn’t July, I don’t think I would have gone for a gradient of color on my lower lash line, but I am loving it!
There is just something about being outside and especially being by water that just inspires me. Whether I go for bright eyes or bright lips, I am really loving the current trends and even the same-ole stuff. I think a pop of color in the lower lash line will always work. It’s the easiest way to incorporate color into your look, and is surprisingly very wearable.
I had a blast creating this look! It is similar to my aqua eyes look, but incorporates a gradient, which is super fun for those days by the water. It’s perfect for a beach party, a Summer night out, really anything for this time of the year! (still dealing with skin issues…..urgh! I’ll figure it out)
I don’t really have any special story to share today. I just really loved creating this look and it’s one of my favorites so far.
Let’s get into the deets:
