Hey all! So I have this idea to post a weekly “Sunday Thoughts” where I talk about the week. I will talk about the blog, my life, and anything else that is relevant. I want it to be a time where I am able to catch up with all of you and just chat.
Starting a blog was something that I have wanted for a long time, and I am so excited to finally have one! I feel so inspired and eager to see where this may go. I have so many ideas, and am looking forward to continuing to work on blogging. I know I have so much more to learn and I am so ready for it!
Besides working on the blog, I have been busy with school, the gym, the usual stuff.
I am so excited that we are in the middle of Spring. The weather in Washington is finally consistent, and my apartment feels so much brighter.
I love that my apartment feels bright and happy (and no, I didn’t crop out my backpack on the ground….let’s keep it real.
Another thing that’s making me happy besides the Spring: Whole Foods burritos. Their burrito bar has seriously saved me on days when I have no time to make lunch. It is a bit of an indulgence (why yes, I will take the Follow Your Heart sour cream and Daiya Mozzarella), but so delicious and worth it. I love the chipotle tofu option because it is so delicious. Yeah, I know that there are no veggies in mine…honestly, I am so used to having veggie-packed meals that sometimes it is nice to have a break. You know what I mean?
My final obsession for the week? Candles! I have finally gotten back into burning candles and this old Bath and Body Works Bloom Candle (bought it a couple years ago) is really helping my apartment get into Spring. Why am I so happy about this? Well, I think the lighting in my apartment is a bit sad. I don’t have a lot of control over it, but there has always been this yellow tint in our lights, which makes the apartment look a bit dreary. Anything I can do to brighten it up, the better! I really want to go and grab some more candles asap (did you know that Yankee Candle is 100% vegan?).
Overall, I am feeling so grateful for this past week. I have had so much fun working on the blog (which I started working on a month ago) and just enjoying my daily life. This week, it’s really just more of the same: blogging, school, work, working out, and trying to have a semi-social life.
I hope that your Sunday is amazing, and that your week is everything you want it to be!
